I Rate It Highly - Brewhouse

I have been keen to visit Brewhouse and a recent visit to Bunnings provided the perfect opportunity. Just like Bunnings, Brewhouse is open at 7.00am, brilliant! This was especially good news for us as our home esspresso machine is on the fritz, so we pretty much were able to just get up and head out.

Brewhouse is in a zany location, tucked away down a no through road in an industrial area of Bendigo, Golden Square to be correct. It is housed in a standard issue warehouse, but inside is a completely different matter. They've kept the industrial feel, in fact the kitchen is in a converted shipping container, but they've made it very inviting and comfortable. And groovy.

We kicked off with our soy lattes. Man were they good! Husband had pretty much ordered his second even before the first was finished. They were scullable!

The menu is not extensive, but we were happy to road test the classic versions of bacon and eggs. Well, mine wasn't a version so much as actually just bacon and eggs.

Husband went slightly more further afield with some great sides wilted spinach, tomato, chorizo and mushroom which he declared to be really good. Mine was likewise excellent.

I'm assuming that you know that Brewhouse is a local roaster? Well if you don't they are! They do the roasting onsite and that was all going on in the background as we ate. All the staff seem very knowledgeable about the product and skilled in all areas of their work. Hoorah! That is all I ask for!

We bought some beans to take home in hopes that our machine is fixable and left as happy chappies.
